Abstract energy blast

Step 1.
Firstly create a new document 500 by 500 pixels. Reset your foreground and background colours (by hitting D on your keyboard).
Now go Filter > Render > Clouds.


You will have something like the image below.



Step 2.
Secondly, go Filter > Pixelate > Mezzotint. Type: medium lines.



You will come up with an image similar to the one below.



Step 3.
Now go Filter > Blur > Radial Blur. Amount: 50, Method: Zoom, Quality: Best.



Your image will now resemble what is shown below.

Step 4

Next up, we'll be adding some colour to our effect. The easiest way to do this is to create an adjustment layer.
Go Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Colour Balance and move arrow heads in the direction of the colour you want.

You now have an Abstract energy blast effect that can be use for your signatures.
